Protein Waffles

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. egg whites
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup nut flour (tigernut, almond, or others)
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat waffle iron. Beat eggs in large bowl. Beat in flours, protein powder, milk, baking powder, salt and vanilla, until smooth.
  • Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until golden brown. Serve hot with some nut butter if desired.
