Good for your Gut Onion Soup

This soup can be made under 30 minutes. It is dairy-free, gluten-free, and tasty.

Ingredients

  • 3 onions (finely chopped)
  • 5 cups chicken bone broth (homemade is best)
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp bay leaf
  • 1 tsp turmeric

Instructions

  • Heat a pot over medium heat. Add 1 tbsp of avocado oil. Add onions, and cook, stirring often, until soft.
  • Add bone broth. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally. Cook for about 20 minutes.
