My Favorite Things

It has been a while since I shared something else than a recipe. This week I decided to share my favorite products. These are products that I have been using on a daily basis because I love them so much. I don’t eat the plantain chips and the coconut chips everyday (even though I wouldn’t mind) because I know I wouldn’t reach my goals if I was eating them everyday.

I am sure that you are probably familiar with those products, but in case you aren’t I suggest you try them out because they are from brands that care about the quality and the type of ingredients they are using to make awesome stuff.

1. Artisan Tropic

I love Artisan Tropic chips. My favorite are the plantain chips, but I cannot decide which one is my favorite between the sea salt and the cinnamon flavor. The inconvenient thing is that the only place I can find them is at Marshall and at a store that is 45 minutes away from me. I guess waiting for Marshall to stock up on them is a way to stop me from eating them everyday lol.

2. Dang Foods Coconut Chips

If you tried the caramel sea salt flavor then you know what I am talking about, and if you haven’t tried them you should. I probably talked about them before I really love them. I used to top my yogurt with them, and add some chocolate chips to them, but while on the AIP I just ate them straight off the bag (and I usually finish the whole bag :D). I can find them pretty easily, and I usually buy them when they are on sale (which also stops me from eating a bag a day).

3. Organic Gemini Tigernut Flour

I have been using this flour since I started the AIP because it is a great substitute for nut flour. I have been able to find it in stores for a while, but since there wasn’t a lot of recipes for it I didn’t buy it. It is pretty popular now, so you can find plenty of recipes on the internet, and it is easier to find it in stores.

4. Great Lakes Gelatin Collagen

I am using this every single day! I wasn’t seeing any difference when I started using it at first, but it has been a few weeks since I noticed that I am not losing as much hair as I used to after my shampoos. I also like that it is tasteless and it disolves so easily in coffee without changing the consistency.

5. Epic Bars

This bars really changed my life! Ok, maybe I exagerate.. Buy, honestly they are so convenient when you are on the AIP and you need a source of protein to go with your smoothie while you are in the car. I haven’t been eating enough protein, so having these for snack was an easy way to add more protein to my diet. They aren’t all AIP friendly, but a few of them are (bison bacon cranberry, beef apple bacon, salmon smoke maple, and wild boar bacon).
